Meet The Team

Beezey is our wisest and most stoic chicken.  She is of the Creamed Legbar variety.  She lays our beautiful robin's blue eggs.  

Spicy is one of our "twin" chickens of the Dominique variety.  We call her spicy because she prefers not be held, but is friendly in other regards.  She lays a medium sized light brown egg. 

Sweetie is a truly our most gentle chicken. She is the twin counterpart to Spicy. She too is of the Dominque variety.  She loves to be held and pet.  She always politely squats down to be picked up and waits patiently to be sat back down.  She lays a medium sized light brown egg. 

Pumpkin is our largest chicken.  She is gregarious and is always ready to socialize.  She is of the New Hampshire Red variety and lays large light brown eggs.

Thelma is one of our 3 New Hampshire Reds.  She is happiest hanging out with her counterpart Louise.  She does not mind human interaction, but she prefers not to be held.  She lays a large light brown egg.

Louise is a New Hampshire Red.  She and Thelma are besties!  They love to explore our property together searching for the tastiest worms and most tender clovers. She lays a large light brown egg. 

Tomato is our clever little Oliver Egger.  She loves to be held and fits perfectly between your arm and hip as a sidekick for a stroll around the yard.  She lays medium sized olive colored egg.

Pineapple is our award winning chicken!  We adopted her from friends who entered her in the county fair where she was awarded with a blue ribbon.  She has beautiful, multi-colored feathers and the fluff all chickens dream of.  She lays large spotted brown eggs.

Lavern is one of our 3 Olive Eggers.  She spends most of her days paired up with Shirley.  They like to do their own thing exploring together. Lavern lays a large olive colored egg. 

Shirley is the counterpart to Lavern and is an Olive Egger, as well.  They are unconcerned with human interaction and enjoy just being the beautiful chickens that they are.  Shirley lays a large olive colored egg.
